Tickford was asked to build a station wagon based on the Series One Land Rover chassis. This is what they come up with, the body frame made from Rosa Peroba wood from Brazil with alloy panels. This was shown at the 1948 Motor show and resulted in 641 sales. 100 went to Poland with others going to other European countries as well as Argentina and Brazil. The RAF and the Royal Navy were also supplied. There are about 20 known to survive.
